So beautiful, Kym - both pieces. Love how you captured your love for your dear mother in all those moments, and hers for you 💗💗 - so vivid and precious. And congrats to your sister!
Thank you for sharing what feels like a beautiful, poetic collage of family, mothers, daughters, sisters, and love.
Thanks for reading Jen!! 🥰 It's such an honor to write about people I love and have others read and appreciate them. So thankful for this space and for readers like you! 💛
Thank you for sharing these bite sized memories of your mum. Love this writing style and getting to know you through them! ☺️ The thing I love most about my mum is her unwavering grace and gentle strength.
Oh Kym!! This was all so beautiful! Makes me excited to be a mum, Lord willing. 😉🫣☺️ I can't thank God enough for a close relationship with my mum, I wouldn't be where I am today without her. And following in her footsteps as a teacher is just bringing us closer. 🥰 Also, round of applause for sharing these structure-defying, free and personal pieces! 🙌 It's so encouraging and intimate to read real, personal strings of thought. Thank you! 💛
Reading this sitting at the YMCA, my 2.5 yo and 7 wo in their childcare, snatching a moment got myself after working out amidst the feeding and holding and diapers and potty training and child wrangling that is my parental leave life right now. So thankful for my mom and all the ways she’s helped me with both kiddos. So thankful that the second newborn stage feels easier than the first. And thankful for the forming that I know is happening, from one nap to the next.
That's beautiful Sara! And wow, go you!! Working out at 7w post partum 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 glad you got a moment to sit and read, and honoured that you chose to read my little offering!
I love your art, your words and photos! Reading is something I’ve been able to do, even while holding a baby. Working out takes a lot more intentional priority, but it helps me feel like myself 😅
This is beautiful! I enjoyed reading it a lot.
Thanks so much Kiara!!
This is wonderful, Kym.

True, I did a lot more reading when my littlest was under 1 and I was breastfeeding than now 😅 thank you for your kind words 🥰
